The Student Services Department oversees all student clubs, student associations, student groups, and will provide services that enable outstanding student experiences.
The Student Services Department also contributes to the institution’s mission by working with the community to deliver support and excellence in services to improve and grow student’s intellectual, emotional, physical, and social success, within a diverse campus life.
DIDI prides itself on its international and multicultural student body, staff, and faculty. We build and sustain collaborative relationships throughout the Institution to best serve the needs of our student body through programs, services, and efforts dedicated to the development of students, faculty, staff, and alumni. This will be achieved through recognition of diversity, being culturally sensitive and responsive to change, and by investing in the specialized skills and knowledge of its people.
Another function of the Student Services Department is to assist students in liaising with other service departments. Services are provided starting from the onboarding process of new students, organizing the orientation week of the new joiners, to the facilitation of the clearance process for graduating students. Other functions include assistance with tasks such as, but not limited to processing of UAE student residence visa, health insurance cards, ID cards, official letters, capturing and maintaining students’ personal information through an up to date database, working with the Finance Department to process reimbursements of students where eligible.
The Student Services department also assists all students with event planning, sponsorship process, and contracts with outsourced vendors. It advertises on students’ behalf of upcoming in-house events and promotes outside events like educational forums, sports cups, university-level competition, etc. Logistical support to these events is also provided by the Student Services department.

The campus is within easy reach of a number of clinics and hospitals as close as Healthcare City to Jumeirah, so our students are always taken care of. On site, we have registered first aiders to ensure we have systems in place in case of emergency. Our administration team can discuss with you options for health care policies for those students coming from outside the UAE.
Set in the heart of Dubai Design District (d3), students are in the middle of all things creativity. Surrounded by the likes of fashion and furniture designers, in a place that networking and opportunities are on our doorstep, coming to campus is inspiring, walking into the centre of Dubai’s world of design.
DIDI campus already boasts an international family, students coming from more than 30 nationalities including India, Pakistan, Cuba, China, South Africa, Russia and the US, with UAE and GCC nationals accounting for 30 per cent of DIDI student body .
On-site facilities include the studio, a communal place where students can meet, collaborate and study. A growing library also provides access to the resources the students need, much of which is extremely specialised and focused on our core curricula. The library includes online and more specialist resources including a material library for our fashion students. Our classrooms, FabLab and computer lab enable students to access in-house faculty and technology to ensure their studies have the fullest support for project and prototype development.
The campus is surrounded by an array of cafes and restaurants with all amenities within a short walk, while the campus facilities, from its labs and studios, provide the dream working environment for our students.

Built to emulate the latest workplace technologies and systems of the design world, students simulate a daily life as a designer from day one.
